Our Author
The president of our companies, and the author of our curriculum and materials, is a licensed pharmacist with over 35 years of experience in both retail and hospital practice environments.
His retail experience includes settings that include: neighborhood chains, supermarkets, independent, and super stores. Management positions include pharmacy manager and district pharmacy manager in one of the nation’s largest pharmacy retailers.
His hospital experience was obtained at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics where he started as a full-time pharmacy technician during pharmacy school.
He has been a technician educator since 1999 under the PharmacyTrainer banner starting with live local classes. Shortly thereafter, he authored the nationally famous PTCB interactive CDROM, PTCB exam review textbook and workbook, and online test preparation. During this time, we brought live classes to the states of Illinois, Indiana, Texas, Virginia, and Florida.
After numerous requests from private vocational institutions and colleges, PharmacyTrainer now licenses our “turn-key” curriculum. The program is being used by colleges, vocational institutes, workforce agencies, and employers.
